This is my very
first strategy guide, so it might
not be the best. But I put alot
of "work" into, so it
should be okay. This is a
strategy for the quest mode. From
the main menu of the game, choose
quest, and then new. This will
start a brand new quest. You now
have $25,000 to purchase yourself
a new car. Here is a chart of all
of the vehicles you can get with
your $25,000 and possible
upgrades you an get with money
left-over.
NOTE: Acceleration,
speed, looks, and handling will
all be rated on a scale of 1 - 5
swirls. Then, a final score will
be given to it based on these
scores.

Sonysbad
picks: If you can learn how to
handle a stiff car, get the DC2,
if not, get the 514.
In my opinion, these are the bst
2 cars for starting out.
Using
the DC2 and getting the most
expensive muffler, and 2 engine
upgrades, I managed to beat well
over 30 opponents and earning
$55,400. When you reach this
amout of money, you are ready for
your next car. Here is another
chart for the next round of cars.

Sonysbad
picks: I really like the JZA80
for its good speed and superb
handling. The CE9A is
your best bet if you are a little
low on cash, and the FD is
easily the best all around car.
Your round 2 car
will pretty much last you till
the end of the game. You should
be able to beat the 4 devas with
it. You will have to upgrade it
quite a bit though. I recomend
engine upgrades for your first
upgrades. I also recomend buying
the most expensive muffler. Your
goal though is to maxamise
everything, buy and upgrade
everything, and personalize it
by changing the aerodynamics to
give it the look you like. After
you beat the 4 Devas, there will
be 3 more cars for you to pick
from, and after you beat the 4
Devils, 4 more cars will open up.
These cars, plus NA2, are the
coolest cars in the game. So now
you can purchase you final cars
(s).
