Graphics- The graphics in
this game are simply amazing (you
expect less from the Dreamcast?)
and the attention to detail is
phenomenal. When your character
is moving or is on a windy stage,
their hair even sways and blows
in the wind! The character
designs are some of the best
I have ever witnessed, rivaled
only by the fabulous characters
of the Street Fighter series, and
their movements are incredibly
life like. I think this game is
going to remain the unchallenged
King of Fighters for a while.
Gameplay- I have heard many
people claim that this game is
impossible to play using the
standard Dreamcast controllers (I
personally think that the
Dreamcast controllers are great
for this game) so you may,
depending on the way you play
fighting games, want to buy the
arcade stick. Other than that,
the characters in this game
handle great, and the moves are
relatively easy to perform. My
only problem is that when
performing some of the moves,
they are slightly delayed, but it
is not a serious problem.
A.I.- The Artificial
Intelligence in this game is
pretty good. Like all fighting
games, you can choose the level
of difficulty you want your
opponents to fight at. It ranges
from super-easy to super-hard, so
the harder you set it on, the
more opponent beats the crap out
of you, and when they say Hard,
they mean HARD.
Some of the enemies you fight in
mission mode are HARD
and took me a bit of time to
beat.
Ingenuity- Tekken 3 wha? In
my opinion this is the BEST
fighting game ever. This game may
not have very many
"revolutionary
advancements", but who cares
this game is one of, if not the
best, fighting games ever.
Fun- This game is great
fun. There is a lot of extra
stuff to do that will keep you
playing this game for weeks. You
can play a game mode called
"mission mode". In this
mode you play levels with
different objectives (ex. Knock
your enemy out of the ring to
win) and when you win a match you
get a certain amount of points.
These points you receive can be
used to buy pictures in the
picture gallery. Certain pictures
give you special things like new
levels.
