Graphics- The graphics are
great! There is absolutely NO
slowdown. All of the environments
are big and colorful. This game's
graphics really show what the
Dreamcast is capable of. They are
also the fastest I've ever seen.
Faster than ANY racer I've ever
played. They are drop gorgous,
PERIOD.
Gameplay- Gameplay varies
between each of the characters.
First theres Sonic. He controls
just like the Sonic we know and
love from the 16-bit days. Tails
is OK, I had a hard time judging
where he was going to land after
flying. Knuckles is great. Amy is
great, her hammer move is very
simple to do. Big the Cat isn't
so great. He is slow and has a
lame move. He can hit enmies with
has fishing rod. But it takes a
couple seconds of after you hit
the button before the rod
actually hits the enemy. But the
actual fishing with Big isn't too
bad. Gamma is pretty good too.
A.I.- Well, sorry to
say, but the enemys in this game
are just too easy. From all of
the bosses, to the regular
enemies in the stages, none of
them pose much of a challange.
Ingenuity- Though Sonic
Aventure adds very little to te
Platform genre, what it does do
is perfect it. The game does add
a little something though, it
tries to add a little RPG or
exporing or soemthing. This is
done in a nice and effective
manner and adds a great story to
an already great game. And with 6
playable characters with their
own adventure, their is plenty to
do.
Fun- This is by far the
most fun you can have for under
$50. the game packs plenty of
reply value and the graphics are
jaw-dropping. Sonic Adventure is
the definition of fun.
