SEGA Rally 2
Graphics- Some would say that SR:2 suffers because it doesn't hold a constant 30fps, but who cares?  It is by far the best looking racer you will find on your DC.  It looks a bit more polished than the Japanese version, and its a darn good looking game.  Put this game on your DC wishlist this holiday season because you won't be dissapointed!

Gameplay- The "feel" of this game is exactly right, and the sense of competition it inspires is top notch as you work your way through the 10-year championship, you will actually feel like your chasing other drivers. You can set up your car to adjust to road conditions such as rain, snow, and mud, yes folks i said mud, dirty, dirty mud. So take notes. Although it may take sometime to get use to power sliding you'll truely appreciate this racer.

A.I.- SR:2 has many different modes of play. There is the 10-year Championship, in which you have a series of races which manufacturure points are awarded that lead up to ultimate championship. The arcade mode is simply practice or a mini type championship, unfortunately there is only 2-player mode, but who woould want to share a screen with four others anyways. The car profiles are whats cool because you get to see the car race around the track while some unknown voice explains the car's history and how it became a rally car.

Ingenuity- The artifiial inteligence in SR:2 is something to marvel at.  You will find yourself on the edge of your seat as you desperately try to work yourself into first place, but lying in wait are 15 other racers ready to spoil your run to the top, and boy are the competitive, they sometimes even cut you off in a turn or on a straight away, which leads to infinite replay value.

Fun- This is the kind of game that will dray you in for hours at a time.  It's more fun than the arcade version and twice as better looking, well maybe not twice but pretty darn close. Unfortunately the is no online play, but this game holds up fine without it. I've said it before and I will say it again, SR:2 is the best racer you are going to find for your DC, at least thats until SEGA GT is released, but that is in the future, so make sure you pick up this racer wether it is and a electronics store or for Christmas.  GET IT!!!
