Durability- This thing is
extremely durible. The whole
thing is made of super thick
plastic and some parts are made
of metal. All of the buttons felt
fine, none of them felt like if I
pushed it to hard, they would
break. The D-Pad is fine, as well
as the 2 levers on the back of
the wheel. They are made of
metal, and I don't plan on them
breaking anytime soon. The wheel
it self feels very solid and
doesn't feel like it is about to
fall off the base. The thing is
quite heavy. The foot petels are
very good as well. The are light,
but have rubber grips and don't
move when you use it. I thought
for sure the petel would snap
when I applied pressure, but the wheel
held up quite nicely. Overall,
this is a high quality, durible
product.
Features- This
thing is packed with features.
The wheel is covered in rubber.
It is very comfertable and
eliminates and slipping of your
hands. My favorite feature is the
button relocator. You can totaly
custamize your button set up.
This is great because I don't
like the petels. Therefor, you
would need to use the levers
behind the wheel, but I hate them
too. So with the button
relocator, I can have the brake
and accelorator buttons where I
want them. Another excelent
feature is the rumble. It is by
far the strongest rumble you are
ever likely to feel. You do have
to plug it in though, but they
include an A/C adaptor. It is
also fully adjustable to
accomedate different sized people
and different surfaces. It
includes clamps and suction cups
to attach to a table. But you can
also have it between your legs
and sit in a chair (I sit on the
floor) with it. It is very
versitile.
Price- If you ask me, $60
is awfully steep (it was a gift,
the price would have turned me
off). But after using it, I can
say that $60 is well worth it.
There are cheaper wheels on the
market, but I can garuntee this
is the best one out there. The
price is steep, but its worth it.
Ingenuity- Now this is tough.
Nothing on this is new. There are
customizable buttons on other
controllers, petels are nothing
new, rubber grips aren't anything
new either. There really isn't
aything innovative here, but to
inlude it all in one product has
never been done. So it scores a
few points there. It hasn't added
anything new to racing wheels,
but it perfected it.
