Graphics- One of the better
titles to show off the DC's
power. As good or better than the
arcade. Brilliant colors, fast
most of the time, but can slow
down rather badly at times if
more than 4 boats on screen. But
hey, its really not that bad once
you've played it for a while.
Almost undistinguishable from
real life, but not like an NFL2K
life-likness, just alot better
than most of the graphical games
of today.
Gameplay- If you've ever
played this in the arcade, you
know what to do, use the triger
buttings as the gas and brake
button with that ever so crutial
A button for your boost.
Unlocking all the tracks is a bit
hard but a nice challenge, and
worth it for what you pay for the
game. Alot better of a racing
game in my opinion than most of
the racers out for the DC, N64,
and PSX nowadays.
A.I.- Only thing hard
about the computer opponents,
their speed, and you need alot of
speed to pass these guys by, not
your walk in the park racing
game. No room for screw-ups in
the hard/extra tracks, if you do,
youre toast and might as well
just start over and try again.
Ingenuity- A high scorer on
my scale, I haven't seen many
Boat/ Hydroplane racers out, so
this is almost a really
revolutionary game. A good game
for one of those rainy days when
you don't have anything better to
do. This is the game for all you
racing enthusiasts who can't wait
for Crazy Taxi or Sega GT, this
is it.
Fun- Really fun, but
really hard at the same time, a
perfect combination for a racer,
considering you want to get your
$50 worth! Probably a better
2-player game if you want to have
a good competition with a human
opponent which is a blast if you
have your own little tournament
where you can see who can get the
most wins in a row.
