Black Matrix is a strategy RPG.  It is a direct port of a Saturn game of the same name.  Unfortunately, it doesn't look much better.

In the game you spend the first year of your existence in training; everything that you choose from there effects the whole game. The battles are turn based and exist on a tiled map. The full motion videos aren't bad, showing off some decent art direction and solid cell animation, although most are still cardboard cut outs that spouts out line after line of dialogue. Unfortunately or not, the game has a slim chance of seeing the states, but i have written this preview just in case. So for the hard-core RPG gamers, this game probably will not satisfy your hunger for a decent RPG for your DC, but for the newbie RPG gamer, you might want to import this title, because this game would be a perfect start!
