Most
Sega fans have been waiting for
that day and after almost a month
after that revolutionary day, I
have written an article for what
went on that day. People in
lines, customers walking off with
Dreamcasts, and excitement is
what you would see if you passed
by your nearest gaming store.Well
luckily I got a Dreamcast without
trouble, but 18 games to choose
from, millions of people, and so
little time were the conditions
lots of people went through. Some
games like Sonic Adventure were
no doubt sold out.
It
was astonishing how Sega had a
plan to get more consumers by
releasing 18 different games.
They had a game for almost every
genre. Fighting, racing, and
sports to name a few.
When
I got home, I opened my dreamcast
just like it were Christmas Day.
I set it up, put in the demo
disc, and began to play. On
Friday morning, all I could think
of was Dreamcast while at school.
At around 3:45 in the afternoon I
started Sonic. I had played it
before and was hooked in seconds.
The
Dreamcast sold millions [dollars]
and was sold out in most game
stores. Now almost one month
after that day, Dreamcast still
has great games out, great games
that will release soon, and lots
of success. Congraulations Sega
for the best system on the
planet.
